They met to discuss about the items to be covered during the celebration of the Living Lab.
On Monday May 27th, Cámara de Comercio de Sevilla held a meeting with experts in the field of Mediterranean Diet gastronomy and tourism and representatives of some local stakeholders such as PRODETUR (Agency for Tourism of Seville Province), Tourism of Seville, Gastronomy and Tourism Sevillian Academy, Hospitality Association of Seville and Seville Congress & Convention Bureau. They met to discuss about the items to be covered during the celebration of the Living Lab “Culture of Tapa, Tourism and Mediterranean Diet Forum”, getting some advice from these experts and drawing jointly the program and activities to be carried out in this event next July 2nd in Seville.
In the Living Lab next July, they will also involve experts and representatives of this field. The objective of the event is to give value to the culture of the "tapa" as an essential element of the Mediterranean Diet and its impact on the tourism development of the region. This meeting will review the fundamental role of the "tapa" as an essential part of the Mediterranean Diet and its impact on Andalusian tourism from the academic perspective, the development of toruism strategies and the involvement of the business sector for the economic development of the region.
